As of September 21, the EASDec Board has decided to allow participants to convert from physical to virtual attendance, if they are not able to attend the EASDec meeting in person, due to the circumstances of the pandemic.
Current situation in Denmark (September 2):
75% of the Danish population has initiated vaccination, and the vast majority has been fully vaccinated. Hence, it has been decided that all COVID-19 restriction in Denmark will be removed as of September 10. Hence, we do not expect these to impact the meeting, which will take place on October 28-30.
Travelling to Denmark:
At present (September 2), all EU/Schengen countries, USA and Japan are all categorized as Green or Yellow, which e.g. means that persons fully vaccinated are able to enter Denmark without demands of self-isolation on arrival. At present, UK is classified as Orange. There are no Red countries.
Information regarding potential travelling restrictions are frequently updated at https://en.coronasmitte.dk/rules-and-regulations/entry-into-denmark
Please pay close attention to travel restrictions and be aware that other regulations may apply for re-entry into your own country.
Testing in Denmark:
Antigen-testing can often be provided (often for free) for non-Danish citizens, but registration is mandatory prior to testing. Please consult www.covidresults.dk for further information. A test center is located at the City Counsil at Flakhaven 2, Odense, which is a 7-minutes walk from the venue.
We will try to keep this page updated, as the situation emerges. For further information, please contact Conference Organizer Peder Andersen () or Head of the Local Organization Committee, Professor Jakob Grauslund ().
